This week, I volunteered to take Movember 'stache portraits for the New York Arup (www.arup.com) team of mo bros and one mo sista. Overall, the USA Arup team raised enough to place within the top 100 Movember teams in the country; and, globally, Arup placed in the top 40 - besting Facebook, Pfizer, Fidelity, and Nike, among many others!
Always trying to kill two birds with one stone, this 'stache shot session was used to pivot in fundraising efforts by collecting donations for the upcoming Help-Portrait (www.help-portrait.com) event that will be taking place in the Rockaways and Staten Island to benefit families affected by Superstorm Sandy. I just wanted to thank the Arup team for being a fun group to shoot and also for the donations that I'm sure will be greatly appreciated by families that are still suffering from the Sandy devastation.
If you would like to help Sandy-impacted families (including some that lost all of their family pictures) during this season of giving, please use the following link: http://nychelpportrait2012.eventbrite.com
