Hunt Library

Last week I was able to take a walk around my old stomping grounds of NC State. Things surely have changed since I graduated, most noticeably the ever expanding Centennial Campus. Took a little time to checkout the new James B. Hunt Jr. Library and snap a few photos. I was really impressed by the library, both aesthetically and the functionality for the students that take advantage of its many technologically advanced spaces and study areas.

The natural lighting that fills the library is quite the welcome reprieve from those who are familiar with the old campus library.

The real time Hunt Library Instagram is a nice touch to show that the university is staying socially aware.

One of the signature features of the Hunt Library is the automated book retrieval. Basically, there are no standard library stacks. Instead, a robot retrieves your books from the stacks seen below that are three stories high!

This weekend I had the pleasure of shooting Adam's Brooklyn apartment. He is one of the designers for HomePolish and definitely makes the most out of every inch of his space.
